How to use Ring Central

Using Ring Central

Sending faxes using the Ring Central App –

Click compose fax (paper icon) in the bottom toolbar. Enter the recipient’s fax number in the To section. Most buildings will have one cover page but if you have multiples you can click cover page to change them. Enter recipient details if you want them to appear on the cover page. Attach the file you want to fax by either clicking the paperclip icon or dragging the file into the Attachments section. Click send fax. The fax will appear in the messages section and will say Fax Submitted underneath the fax number. This means the fax is attempting to go through. It will take about 2 minutes for the fax to either go though and say Fax Sent, or fail and say Fax Failed. If the fax fails try and send it again. If it fails again call tech support.

Receiving faxes –

Whenever you receive a fax it will appear in the Messages section of the Ring Central app and you should also get a notification in your email. You can view, save, or delete the fax using the options under the received fax in the Ring Central app.

You may need administer privileges to install the app. If so call tech support.
